Suits

Salons and brands that already know the curl and diameter their artists work with, and need a tray that repeats exactly from order to order.

Skip it if

Buyers still testing the market. Order a mixed tray first: a full case of one length tells you nothing about which lengths your clients actually use.

Check before ordering

Compare the curl against a tray you already trust, not against a photo. Curl codes are conventions, and two factories can label the same CC differently.

On the floor

Ellipse is about softness, not coverage

Ellipse fibre has a tapered, flattened section that gives a softer edge than flat lash and more coverage than round. It suits a client who wants a natural set with a bit more presence, and it is the line most often chosen for bridal work where the look has to survive photographs.

Because the section is thin at the tip, ellipse is more sensitive to handling than round fibre. We check tip integrity after the tray is packed and again on the retained sample, since a tip that frays in transit produces a set that looks fuzzy rather than feathered.

Where ellipse earns its price

Ellipse costs more than round fibre and less than a full flat line. It earns the difference in close-up work, bridal and editorial, where the lash edge is visible. For a high-volume studio selling a standard set, round fibre remains the better margin.
