Tweezers: the cheapest item, the loudest complaints

Tweezers cost less than a tray and cause more complaints than any other tool, because an artist uses them thousands of times a month. A tip that is misaligned by a fraction drops a fan every twenty placements, and the artist blames the lashes or their own hands.

Four checks settle most questions before a case order: hold the tips closed against a light, open and close twenty times, run a fingertip along the inside edge, and feel where the balance sits. A pair that fails the first check will fail in the studio.

Steel grade matters less than testing. A tested 410 pair outperforms an untested 420. If the tweezers will be sterilised, the logo has to be laser etched; print rubs off within weeks.
