Laser-cut tips are about the last two millimetres

A laser-cut lash is finished with a sharper taper than a conventionally cut fibre, so the tip disappears into the natural lash instead of ending in a visible blunt point. The difference only shows at close range, which is exactly the distance a client checks the set in a mirror.

The cutting step also removes the slight bulge that a mechanical cut can leave. That bulge is what makes a cheaper lash look heavy at the tip and photograph as a solid line rather than individual lashes.
