Fit and limits

Who this line suits, and who should skip it

Suits

Artists who work at a steady pace and control humidity in the room. Best for salons running six or more sets a day, where the glue has to keep up with the hands.

Skip it if

Beginners still learning isolation, and studios without a hygrometer. A fast glue in a dry room cures before the fan is placed, and the set looks uneven by day three.

Check before ordering

Ask for the batch and the production date before ordering a case. Adhesive loses a third of its rated speed after six months in a warm warehouse.

Field notes

Sealant adds a finish, not a guarantee

Sealant coats the cured bond and the lash line after a set. It adds a little flexibility and water resistance, which helps clients who swim, steam or work in humid kitchens. It also closes the surface so mascara and dust do not collect at the base.

The finish is the trade-off. A thick coat dulls the matte black look and can make a fresh set read grey under a ring light. Apply thinly, wait for it to dry, and tell the client not to wash the lashes for the first twenty-four hours. Sealant extends the look; it does not rescue a set built with too much glue.

For retail, sealant is one of the easiest add-ons: small bottle, clear instruction, repeat purchase every six to eight weeks. For salons, it is a finishing step that takes a minute and gives the client something to do at home. Both work, as long as the product is not sold as a fix for shedding.

Does sealant make lashes last longer?

It slows water and oil damage at the bond. It does not compensate for poor isolation or old adhesive.

Can it be used with UV glue?

Oui, once the bond is fully cured under the lamp.

Will it affect the curl?

No, provided it is applied thinly along the base rather than over the length.
