YY lashes: two tips, one base

A YY lash splits into two tips at the top with a single base, so one placement produces the visual effect of two extensions. Artists use it to build density quickly on clients who want a fuller look without a full volume appointment.

The base is the limitation. Two tips on one bond carry more weight at the attachment point than a classic lash, and the split can look mechanical on a very fine natural lash. YY works best on medium to strong lashes, at 0.07 to 0.10, with the split aligned along the lash line rather than across it.

The format is efficient but not versatile. It cannot replace volume for a client who wants softness, and it cannot replace classic for a client who wants a clean single line. Stock it as a service option, not a default.

How many fibres does a YY lash have?

Two tips from one base. The effect is roughly double the visual density of a classic lash of the same diameter.

Is it faster than volume?

Yes. One placement covers what two classic placements would.
