Skip it if

Buyers still testing the market. Order a mixed tray first: a full case of one length tells you nothing about which lengths your clients actually use.

Check before ordering

Compare the curl against a tray you already trust, not against a photo. Curl codes are conventions, and two factories can label the same CC differently.

Lotion strength and the client who reacts

Lift lotion is a chemical product, and its strength decides both the result and the risk. Too weak and the curl drops within a week; too strong and a client with fine lashes feels stinging during the service.

Timing is not a suggestion. The dwell time on the label assumes a room temperature and a lash thickness; in a cold studio the lotion works slower, and artists compensate by leaving it on longer, which is where most irritation comes from.

For buyers, the practical test is on a patch of practice lashes, not on skin. Check the curl after setting and again after twenty-four hours. A lotion that holds at day one and relaxes by day two will not survive a real client.

Can one lotion suit all lashes?

Most brands sell one strength. Fine lashes do better with a shorter dwell, not a different product.

What is the shelf life?

Twelve months sealed, shorter once opened. Write the opening date on the bottle.

Is a patch test required?

Recommended for every new client, especially those with sensitive eyes.
