Ellipse fibre and the softer line

Ellipse lashes use an elliptical cross-section that tapers more gradually than a round fibre. The effect is a softer tip and a lighter look at the same length, which suits clients who find standard volume sets too graphic in photographs.

The difference is subtle in the hand and obvious on camera. Ellipse tends to catch light along the length rather than at the tip, so a set reads smoother under a ring light. Artists who photograph their work often prefer it for that reason alone.

Stocking advice: treat ellipse as a finish, not a category. One tray in the diameter your accounts already use will sell; a full range will sit. Order it alongside the round fibre in the same curl so the artist can mix within a set.
